Overview

An experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal is sought to join a team based in San Francisco, California. This role involves working primarily on personal injury and sexual assault litigation cases within a fully remote and collaborative environment. The position requires initiative, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document production, and filings.
  • Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating logistics.
  • Maintain accurate and timely calendaring of deadlines, hearings, and other case-related events.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure thorough case management and strategic planning.
  • Handle sensitive cases, particularly sexual assault matters, with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to facilitate case progress.
  • Utilize case management software to organize and track case details efficiently.
  • Contribute to a small, fully remote team by demonstrating initiative and self-direction.
  • Ensure all filings and court submissions meet required standards and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency in discovery processes, interrogatory drafting, and trial preparation.
  • Experience with calendaring and managing litigation schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote work environment.
  • Comfort and professionalism in handling sensitive cases, particularly sexual assault matters.
  • Familiarity with case management software and tools.
  • Highly reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
