Overview
This part-time, remote position (hybrid option available in Santa Ana, CA) offers an opportunity to lead complex residential and multi-party construction defect litigation cases. The role is open to candidates returning to work after a career break.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential and multi-party construction defect cases from start to finish.
- Draft pleadings, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and participate in mediations and trials.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and experts to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Advise clients on risk, exposure, and litigation strategy while maintaining a high-energy, fast-paced approach.
Requirements
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 2 to 10+ years of experience in construction defect litigation.
- Experience managing multi-party residential construction defect cases, preferably representing general contractors.
- Confidence in handling litigation through all phases, including trial.
- High-energy, collaborative mindset suited for complex and fast-paced legal matters.
