Overview

The organization is inviting experienced attorneys to join its growing national practice. Attorneys may be considered in either a counsel or lateral partnership capacity, based on experience and business-development alignment.

Roles & Track Considerations

  • Association as Counsel: Senior in-house attorneys with no demonstrable book may be considered. Because the firm’s collections-based model requires attorneys to develop client work, applicants must identify at least one anchor client and articulate a clear business development plan at association.
  • Partnership (Lateral): Lateral partnership candidates are expected to demonstrate a significant transferrable book of originations. Attorneys with less business may apply for a counsel position.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

  • At least 7 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm; or experience in-house with a reputable company
  • Graduated from a top-tier law school; or be able to demonstrate an excellent and sustained reputation in industry

Employment eligibility verification is required. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Practice Areas

Attorneys work with a variety of clients across:

  • Corporate
  • Fintech
  • Intellectual Property
  • Real Estate
  • Litigation

Compensation & How Work Is Structured

  • Attorneys are not salaried.
  • Compensation is based on a percentage of fees collected from clients.
  • Compared with traditional law firm models (where attorneys typically receive about one-third of the value they create), attorneys net a combination of collected origination and matter responsible fees.

Location

National practice.

Equal Opportunity Statement

The organization is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and evaluates qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions, breastfeeding, and conditions related to breastfeeding), gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, age (40 or over), physical or medical disability, medical condition, marital status, registered domestic partner status, sexual orientation, genetic information, military and/or veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable state or federal law.
