Overview
The organization is seeking a Patent Agent to join the Intellectual Property practice group with a focus on Computer Science or Computer Engineering. This position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of patent work, including patent preparation and prosecution
- Support portfolio management
- Conduct strategic analysis and opinion work
- Maintain significant client contact
Requirements
- Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
- Experience in telecommunications, particularly 3GPP standards (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Academic credentials and excellent research
- USPTO registration
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. and/or industry experience
