Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field to join the Intellectual Property practice group. This position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, and opinion work
• Maintain significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications and, particularly, 3GPP standards (preferred)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Academic credentials and excellent research
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: up to 125k
