Overview

This role involves leading and owning a practice within an AI-native corporate immigration firm specializing in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled immigration matters, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A categories. The position offers full accountability for the growth, quality, and profitability of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a dedicated practice area focused on individual immigration cases involving extraordinary ability and high-skilled categories.
  • Serve as the public face of the practice through participation in content creation, social media, client-facing materials, and press engagements.
  • Build and lead a team of attorneys and paralegals, including hiring, development, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Drive business development efforts by collaborating with marketing and business development teams while expanding personal professional networks and referral sources.
  • Utilize an AI-powered platform featuring automated workflows, smart draft review, and a unified case-context hub to enhance team performance.
  • Own the practice’s profit and loss, overseeing case sourcing, team performance, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active U.S. bar admission.
  • Minimum of 10 years of immigration law experience with deep expertise in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled immigration categories (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A).
  • Proven track record of leading and developing attorneys beyond managing a personal docket.
  • Comfort with public visibility, including thought leadership, social media presence, media appearances, and client-facing events.
  • Established professional network and reputation that generate referrals and client trust.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience running or having built an immigration practice.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Ability to maintain rigorous legal quality and client communication standards.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 USD, depending on factors such as location, experience, education, and skills.
  • Profit-sharing incentives with higher rates for self-originated matters compared to firm-sourced cases.
  • No billable hour requirements; compensation is outcome-based.
