Overview
An organization is seeking an experienced Product Regulatory Attorney to provide strategic legal guidance on product compliance for a globally active client. This role involves advising on evolving regulatory requirements related to manufacturing, particularly heavy machinery and power equipment, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure compliant products reach the market. The position is a part-time, remote contract engagement with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on product regulatory and safety matters within the manufacturing sector
- Monitor and interpret current and pending regulatory changes affecting product compliance
- Support compliance strategies related to heavy machinery and power equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate legal guidance into product development and market launch
- Manage product safety and liability issues in accordance with governmental regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling product regulatory matters in manufacturing
- Expertise in product regulatory and safety issues related to heavy machinery and/or power equipment
- Working knowledge of governmental regulations, legal regulatory systems, and product liability claims
- Ability to work efficiently and integrate quickly into existing workflows
- Licensed to practice law in the attorney’s state of residence
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
- Outstanding professional references
Position Details

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay range (full-time equivalent): $170,000 to $190,000
- Pay for contract engagements is based on factors including experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions
