Overview

A law firm specializing in real estate and foreclosure law is seeking a Real Estate Attorney with 1 to 3 years of foreclosure experience. This role involves managing foreclosure cases from intake through final judgment and sale, working collaboratively with legal professionals to protect clients' interests and deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage foreclosure cases from intake through entry of Final Judgment and sale
  • Review and approve Complaints, Amended Complaints, motions, and notices
  • Review title updates, including confirmation of Lis Pendens recording
  • Review demand letters for legal sufficiency and compliance
  • Review estoppel letters for accuracy and legal completeness
  • Review drafted payoff and reinstatement letters
  • Evaluate and respond to title claims as needed
  • Attend contested and uncontested hearings and trials
  • Assist with client reporting
  • Correspond with opposing counsel and clients regarding case matters
  • Update client systems such as LPS, TEMPO, Noteflow, CaseAware, and respond timely to client emails

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active license in good standing
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in foreclosure law
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
