Overview
A specialised part-time consulting opportunity is available for legal professionals with experience in clean energy transactional or project finance work. This role requires strong legal judgment and the ability to review complex transaction-related outputs with precision and consistency. The position supports a collaboration aimed at improving AI-enabled workflows for clean energy transaction professionals through high-quality legal review, output validation, and structured feedback.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs related to clean energy transactions, including areas such as tax equity and transferable tax credits
- Ensure outputs meet high standards for legal accuracy, completeness, and usability
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI model performance
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in generated content and suggest improvements
- Apply legal judgment across corporate, transactional, and finance-related workflows
- Support evaluation of deal structures, financing documents, and regulatory considerations in energy or infrastructure contexts
- Maintain consistency and precision across evaluation frameworks and documentation standards
Requirements
- Experience in clean energy transactions such as tax equity or transferable tax credits, or strong project finance experience
- Background in corporate, transactional, or finance-related legal work
- Familiarity with deal structures, financing documents, or regulatory considerations in energy or infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to critically assess complex outputs
- Ability to provide structured, actionable feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing sophisticated transaction documents in clean energy or infrastructure settings
- Strong understanding of financing workflows and transaction-related legal reasoning
- Comfort working asynchronously across structured review tasks
- Consistency in applying evaluation frameworks and documentation standards
Compensation & Benefits
- Independent contractor role
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
- Hourly compensation of $90–$110 per hour
- Expected commitment of approximately 10 hours per week
- Immediate start
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
