Remote Litigation Associate - South Dakota

Overview

Full-time position

The organization is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join the team remotely in South Dakota, with reporting to the office in Montana.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of South Dakota civil and/or personal injury litigation experience and is licensed in both South Dakota and Colorado or Montana.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage case files with minimal oversight
• Handle civil litigation matters, including personal injury and transportation litigation
• Perform legal research and prepare written work product
• Communicate effectively with clients and case teams
• Participate in trial-related work when applicable
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
• Travel as needed

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the State of South Dakota required and Colorado or Montana preferred
• 6+ years of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and/or Transportation Litigation experience
• Ability to work with little oversight
