Overview
A legal team is seeking a Remote Litigation Attorney to manage a substantial caseload primarily focused on personal injury cases. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The attorney will supervise support staff and maintain excellent client communication while handling high-value litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 50-70 personal injury and wrongful death cases
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and support staff
- Ensure effective communication with clients and take diligent action on all case matters
- Prepare for and participate in trials and depositions
- Handle high-value litigation cases, including trucking and motor vehicle collisions
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Plaintiff-side experience required
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Trial preparation or trial experience strongly preferred
- Active bar license in good standing within the relevant state
- Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching support staff
- Ability to present case statistics during the interview process
- Flexibility in working hours preferred
