Overview

This role is for an experienced attorney with at least 15 years of experience in products liability or commercial litigation. The position involves managing cases with a high degree of autonomy, providing excellent client service, and working collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product liability and toxic tort cases, including multidistrict litigation and coordinated state proceedings.
  • Draft legal briefs, correspondence, and respond to written discovery.
  • Oversee document collection, review, and production.
  • Conduct causation and/or failure analysis.
  • Serve clients in industries such as AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, retail and cosmetics, and technology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in products liability or commercial litigation.
  • Strong case management skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Active membership in the bar of the state of residence and ability to waive into or already barred in a state where the organization has an office.
  • Ability to work independently and manage cases with autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multidistrict litigation and coordinated state proceedings.
  • Background in causation and failure analysis.
