Overview

This role is for an experienced attorney with at least 15 years of experience in products liability or commercial litigation. The position involves managing cases with a high degree of autonomy, providing excellent client service, and working collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product liability and toxic tort cases, including multidistrict litigation and coordinated state proceedings
  • Draft legal briefs, correspondence, and respond to written discovery
  • Oversee document collection, review, and production
  • Conduct causation and/or failure analysis
  • Provide trial and global coordinating counsel support for clients in industries such as AI/robotics, automotive and autonomous vehicles, consumer products, food and wine, connected products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, retail and cosmetics, and technology

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in products liability or commercial litigation
  • Strong case management skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Active bar membership in the state of residence and ability to waive into or already barred in a state where the firm has an office
  • Demonstrated work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Experience with multidistrict litigation and coordinated state proceedings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with causation and failure analysis
  • Proven client service skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $170,000 - $200,000 (may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications)
