Overview
A national debt relief law firm is seeking a full-time, remote attorney licensed to practice in Virginia. The firm specializes in providing cost-effective legal representation to consumers and is experiencing rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage debt resolution files and consult with clients
- Conduct a high volume of telephone consultations to explain the debt resolution process
- Oversee settlements and review case files
- Review and approve legal documents prepared by paralegals
- Provide legal assistance as needed
This role requires strong client interaction skills, patience, and the ability to handle a significant amount of phone communication.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Preferred: Experience in consumer debt defense, collections, debtor/creditor law, or bankruptcy (minimum 2 years)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary from $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
