Senior Commercial Title Examiner

Overview

This role provides nationwide title services in support of real estate transactions. Responsibilities include searching public records and examining titles to determine the legal condition of property title as part of a production center, branch office, or a title team.

Responsibilities

• Compile, investigate, and examine public and tax records to determine liabilities and the legal condition of the title and insurability for primarily commercial or industrial property title
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures
• Understand how your team integrates with related teams to accomplish objectives
• Impact the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team through your own work
• Recognize and solve atypical problems that occur infrequently
• Evaluate and select solutions from existing precedents or procedures
• Communicate and explain complex information, including interdependencies within the team and others
• Work under limited supervision; use discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency
• Serve as an individual contributor and resource for less experienced team members (no supervisory responsibilities)
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Industry experience in the Florida market
• Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
