Overview
A leading internet financial platform company is seeking an experienced legal professional to support its global commercial transactional work. The role involves working closely with Enterprise Sales, Payments, and Ecosystem business segments to facilitate new product offerings and market expansion, including support for a purpose-built Layer-1 blockchain network.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal partner to Enterprise, Payments, and Ecosystem teams, fostering strong communication across global business units.
- Structure, negotiate, and draft complex fintech, payments, crypto, and technology transactions across international markets.
- Develop and expand contract templates and terms of use for new and existing products and services, including stablecoin infrastructure, payment rails, blockchain network integrations, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Assist in creating and implementing processes, procedures, and metrics to improve legal service efficiency, including contracting workflows.
- Provide contract interpretation and management support to business leaders executing deals with enterprise platforms, marketplaces, payment service providers, and payments-native companies worldwide.
- Stay current on developments in finance, payments, stablecoins, digital assets, and blockchain infrastructure to provide practical transactional advice aligned with global go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on legal experience in global commercial transactions, including experience in-house and/or at a top-tier law firm.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex fintech, financial services, and technology agreements, including enterprise platform, payments, and ecosystem partnership transactions.
- Proven ability to support international business teams across multiple regions and markets, with willingness to participate in negotiation calls across global time zones.
- Experience advising cross-functional teams on strategic partnerships and complex commercial initiatives.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory issues affecting payments, stablecoins, blockchain, digital assets, and technology product platforms; experience with Americas and/or APAC markets preferred.
- Ability to identify and manage legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and operational implications, coordinating stakeholders to drive deal alignment.
- Practical, business-oriented judgment balancing legal risk, commercial objectives, and strategic goals under time-sensitive or high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex legal, regulatory, and technical issues into clear, actionable guidance.
- Highly accountable, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment managing multiple projects.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or foreign equivalent, active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar, and at least three years of prior top-tier law firm experience.
- Proficiency with tools such as Slack, MacOS, GSuite, ChatGPT, and other AI-enabled workflows.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $230,000 - $297,500, determined by relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational needs.
