Overview
This role supports scaling within the Creditors Rights business, with ownership of delivery from discovery through scoping, implementation, and filing. The position is a build-and-run opportunity—shaping the operating model while executing hands-on as the function develops.
Responsibilities
- Own remote discovery, scoping, and implementation for all new and expansion Creditors Rights accounts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Creditors Rights service delivery, translating legal and procedural nuance into scalable operational processes.
- Design, document, and continuously refine the end-to-end workflow, from discovery through scoping, implementation, and filing.
- Conduct remote research into new suit and affidavit filing requirements, staying current with jurisdictional and procedural changes.
- Build the infrastructure required to scale from foundational to scaled operations (workflows, tooling, documentation, and training).
- Establish quality control measures, SLAs, and productivity benchmarks for a function still being built.
- Partner directly with Sales on new business handoffs to set clear scoping and expectations from the start.
- Own the third-party vendor-managed filing relationship, including performance, quality, and escalation management.
- Manage caseload and client escalations directly when needed.
- Report on delivery performance, bottlenecks, and scaling readiness to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Litigation Support, Server Network, other Service Delivery pillars, and Product/Tech to align Creditors Rights with the broader operating model.
Requirements
- Deep subject matter expertise in Creditors Rights practice and procedure (discovery, scoping, filing requirements, jurisdictional nuance).
- Proven experience building operational process from scratch, comfortable operating without a fully mature playbook.
- Track record leading and scaling delivery teams in a legal services, legal tech, or similar operations environment.
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships tied to filing or similar operational delivery.
- Ability to operate in a matrixed structure, including managing a dotted-line technical resource jointly with Product/Tech.
- Strong project and process design skills—able to architect a scalable model and execute personally.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action (not suited to a purely strategic operator).
- Experience partnering closely with Sales on new business implementation.
