Overview
A remote contract position is available for a Lawyer to contribute legal expertise to an AI training project. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional specialists to support the development of AI models through detailed legal research and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, case analysis, and statutory interpretation to support AI training content.
- Draft, review, and edit contracts, legal briefs, opinions, and other legal documents ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Analyze regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide litigation support and case analysis for advisory and contentious matters.
- Translate complex legal concepts into clear, structured explanations suitable for AI system training.
- Collaborate with legal and technical experts to enhance processes and outputs.
- Prepare detailed reports and deliver insights to internal stakeholders and project teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years practicing as a lawyer with strong experience in legal research and case analysis.
- Proven expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts, legal opinions, and briefs.
- Ability to analyze complex regulations and ensure compliance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and think critically in a remote environment.
- Experience in report writing, document review, and negotiation.
- Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and SEO-oriented content structuring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting litigation or legal advisory projects, particularly involving multiple jurisdictions.
- Prior involvement with AI training, legal technology, or innovative legal projects.
- Proven ability to simplify and structure complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
