Overview
A leading global cryptocurrency exchange is seeking a Senior Legal Analyst to join their legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support across various business units and geographic locations, focusing on contract management and legal process development within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Data Processing Agreements, marketing services agreements, and amendments.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and vendors to negotiate and execute contracts critical to the organization's growth.
- Apply existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) or develop new ones to support commercial objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and managing legal and regulatory risks.
- Maintain organized records of contracts and legal documents across multiple group entities and jurisdictions.
- Work with business units and legal team members to design, develop, and implement legal processes, training programs, internal guidelines, and playbooks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Assist with special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; a law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Candidates without a law degree but with substantial prior law firm and/or in-house paralegal/legal analyst experience will also be considered.
- Proven ability to independently develop and implement legal processes, policies, and playbooks.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and sound legal judgment.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and handling cross-border commercial agreements is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong commercial judgment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms (e.g., Ironclad) and e-signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) is preferred.
