Overview

A nonprofit organization dedicated to combating antisemitism is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal with experience in both state and federal civil actions. Established in 2020, the organization focuses on using legal strategies to address hate crimes, provide legal representation, train civil rights advocates, and engage with lawmakers and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.
  • Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Manage large volumes of documents and evidence, including e-discovery and document production.
  • Conduct legal and factual research.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and litigation databases.
  • Assist with deposition, hearing, and trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness binders, and trial notebooks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
  • Experience with case management software, e-discovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
  • A strong commitment to supporting the organization's mission.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary up to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
