Overview
- Role: Senior Paralegal (Remote)
- Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere in the USA)
- Compensation: $42 - $55 per hour
This contractor position involves working remotely to support a client in the technology industry by applying expertise in reviewing and evaluating land control instruments. The work contributes to the development of advanced AI systems through high-quality, real-world input.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements, focusing on terms related to duration, exclusivity, and conveyance
- Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues within site control documentation packages
- Organize and present findings in clear, standardized formats for senior legal review
- Support due diligence processes by processing and annotating land and real estate documents
- Flag filings that are non-compliant or incomplete according to project and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Experience with right-of-way acquisition
- Expertise in site control documentation
- Knowledge of easement agreements
- Experience with PJM interconnection
- Skills in land title research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
