Overview
This is a remote contractor role for a Senior Paralegal working with a client in the technology industry. The position involves reviewing and evaluating land control instruments to support the development of advanced AI systems through high-quality, real-world input.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements focusing on term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms
- Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues in site control documentation packages
- Organize and present findings in clear, standardized formats for senior legal review
- Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents
- Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Experience in right-of-way acquisition
- Expertise in site control documentation
- Knowledge of easement agreements
- Experience with PJM interconnection
- Land title research skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $42 - $55
- Fully remote position (work from anywhere in the USA)
