Overview
A leading DevSecOps orchestration platform is seeking a Senior Paralegal to manage disputes, claims, and legal requests with a focus on litigation operations. This role involves ownership of e-discovery processes including data preservation, collection, and discovery. The Senior Paralegal will collaborate closely with in-house attorneys, paralegals, IT, Information Security, and outside counsel to handle complex legal matters efficiently and support broader response coordination for subpoenas and discovery requests.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Risk Management & Dispute Resolution, the role aims to improve legal request handling and develop clear, repeatable processes for accurate and timely execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex e-discovery matters and strategic legal operations projects.
- Manage the e-discovery program, including legal holds, data preservation, and multi-custodian data collection in cloud-native environments.
- Prepare and review legal responses such as subpoena responses, discovery materials, and case documentation under counsel direction.
- Develop and refine processes, playbooks, and knowledge bases to enhance consistency and governance in legal operations.
- Collaborate with Legal, IT, and Information Security teams to coordinate preservation, collection, and response workflows.
- Communicate legal risks and business considerations clearly to senior leadership.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution by organizing information, tracking requests, and assisting teams in executing defined processes.
Requirements
- Experience as a paralegal or in legal operations with a focus on litigation support, gained in-house, at a law firm, e-discovery vendor, or managed service provider.
- Knowledge of e-discovery processes, forensic data collection, and evidence handling, including multi-custodian and cloud-native or SaaS data sources.
- Familiarity with legal operations and business collaboration tools such as Everlaw, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects involving legal, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Strong legal research skills and ability to translate regulatory, legal, or industry findings into practical process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Adaptability to support diverse requests and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Openness to applying transferable experience from related legal operations, litigation, or e-discovery roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-native environments and multi-custodian e-discovery matters.
- Proven ability to develop scalable legal operations processes and governance frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
- United States base salary range: $95,200 to $160,800 USD.
- Salary is determined based on education, experience, skills, equity with other team members, market data, and geographic location.
- Additional compensation may include bonuses, equity, and benefits.
