Overview
This role reports to the Associate General Counsel and provides legal support with a focus on Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Data Licensing Agreements, Research Site Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, and other contract-related tasks. Responsibilities include contract support, tracking, management, responding to legal inquiries, developing legally binding agreements using templates, performing due diligence on pricing, terms, fees, and deliverables, collaborating with internal stakeholders during contract creation and revisions, and ensuring proper distribution and processing of executed contracts.
The position requires a high level of attention to detail, tact, and integrity due to frequent interactions with senior-level internal and external contacts and exposure to confidential information. Work is performed with minimal supervision, requiring independence and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for various contract types including NDAs, MSAs, Data Licensing, Research Site, and Clinical Trial Agreements
- Support project and miscellaneous contract management and tracking
- Respond to legal questions from the business
- Develop legally binding agreements using templates
- Analyze contract information through due diligence on pricing, terms, fees, and deliverables
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders during contract creation and revisions
- Ensure executed contracts are distributed and processed with appropriate internal parties
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of applicable legal experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods
- Adaptability to changing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer programs and software
- Effective communication skills in person and electronically
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a business environment with frequent interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in litigation management and e-Discovery, including document redactions and preparation for production
- Contract review experience, particularly confidentiality agreements
- Prior experience in law firm or in-house legal settings preferred
- Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved school
- Bachelor’s degree and certifications such as CSM, PMP, Organizational Change Management, ITIL, or Six Sigma recognized

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $72,000 - $120,000, dependent on factors including departmental budgets, internal equity, education, skills, experience, and geographic location
