Southern California Based Litigation Attorney (Contract and Remote)

Overview

A nationwide Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Southern California-based attorney with at least six years of litigation experience to assist with general litigation matters. This is a fully remote contract position with flexible scheduling options, including part-time or full-time arrangements based on the candidate's preference.

Responsibilities

• Handle general case workup activities in civil litigation matters, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team on litigation matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of legal experience in litigation
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong academic credentials
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized compensation ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
• W2 employment status with eligibility for full benefits when working 20 or more hours per week
