A partner organization is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their Legal and Compliance department in a remote capacity. This role involves providing high-quality legal advice to internal stakeholders, developing processes to streamline legal operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Support various business units with diverse legal needs.
- Develop and enhance processes within the Legal and Compliance department.
- Ensure the organization meets all legal obligations and is fully protected.
- Identify complex legal challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Stay current with data privacy legislation and update policies accordingly.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably at a top law firm.
- Strong ability to analyze legal documents and identify potential issues.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholder decisions.
- Understanding of complex business and technical concepts.
- Experience managing competing business needs with creative solutions.
- Knowledge of privacy or advertising law is a plus.
