Overview
This role supports a highly complex, fast-paced, multi-faceted business unit within the Pharmaceutical Segment. The Sr. Paralegal assists with redlining and preparing agreements, instruments, documents, and pleadings related to commercial matters under the supervision of the organization’s attorneys, and may also deliver training on corporate policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and company procedures
- Draft contracts based on term sheets, financial models, and approvals
- Communicate contract policies and practices to internal business teams, ensuring contract review, approval, and execution follow standard requirements and contract guidelines
- Prepare and administer routine correspondence and contract documentation to support timely submission and coordinated execution
- Conduct research to support contract audit (as needed)
- Coordinate approvals and responses during contract negotiation
- Perform contract closeout activities, including notifying appropriate stakeholders when contracts have been signed
- Review contracts upon renewal to determine whether changes are needed to financial terms, IT, and operational requirements
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to determine who will communicate internal and external change requirements
- Draft and negotiate healthcare documents and commercial agreements, including:
- Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Product Purchase Agreements
- Distribution Services Agreements
- Other corporate documents and related agreements
- Review internal and external marketing materials
- Support ad hoc projects as needed, including document review and business process improvement
- Create and maintain commercial contract playbooks on various platforms
- Create and maintain commercial contract storage, organization, and interaction within a designated Artificial Intelligence platform
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in contract administration; healthcare strongly preferred
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in a related field preferred; advanced degree preferred
- Quick learner with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
- Team player with a demonstrated history of fostering relationships with cross-functional partners
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and concepts is preferred
- Willingness to learn and become proficient with designated Artificial Intelligence platforms
Location
- Ability to drive into the Dublin, OH office for moments that matter preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800
