Overview

A legal services organization is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support employment litigation and investigations. This role involves managing investigations related to employment matters, including HR, employee relations, conduct, and whistleblowing cases. The Senior Paralegal will provide operational support by managing intake and triage of reports, collecting data, and ensuring compliance with client investigation guidelines under tight deadlines. The position requires working with client technology platforms and following detailed playbooks and processes within assigned workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end investigations of low to medium complexity employment cases.
  • Handle high volumes of investigations by managing intake, triage, and data collection through various client systems.
  • Review investigation requests and allocate them appropriately.
  • Follow established processes and playbooks.
  • Interface with team members, client systems, and custodians to ensure compliance and gather discovery responses.
  • Assist with reporting, metrics gathering, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support other related matters as time permits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in investigations, employment litigation, or related support areas.
  • At least 4 years of experience using technology in a highly process-driven environment.
  • Management or team lead experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and assist team members as needed.
  • Capable of managing a high volume of matters efficiently.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with a focus on process improvement.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently to meet and exceed goals.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in client-specific technology platforms and applications.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with the ability to prepare documents independently.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams using video calls, emails, and chat platforms.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software products as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree required.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 annually (U.S. national range), based on skills, experience, level, and location.
