Overview
This role supports the Employment and Litigation team as a Paralegal, handling time-sensitive legal operations and litigation support activities. You will coordinate with attorneys, a senior paralegal, and cross-functional partners to manage legal demands and maintain accurate records that support sound decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage subpoenas from receipt through resolution, coordinating with attorneys, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Support attorneys with legal demands and escalations, pre-litigation matters, claims, and related inquiries.
- Assist with litigation management, including matter intake, legal holds, discovery coordination, document collection, and organization of case materials.
- Maintain accurate matter records in applicable legal and business systems, including ServiceNow, Smartsheet, document repositories, and reporting tools.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, metrics, and status updates to support legal operations, workload management, and leadership decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, deadlines, follow-ups, action items, and other workstreams for attorneys and legal project teams.
- Identify opportunities to responsibly leverage AI and automation to improve workflows, templates, knowledge management, tracking mechanisms, reporting, and other recurring legal processes.
- Support broader litigation and legal operations projects as assigned.
Requirements (Basic Qualifications)
- 4–6 years of paralegal, litigation support, or comparable experience. Prior experience supporting an in-house legal team or working in a corporate legal environment is a bonus.
- Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience supporting litigation, employment matters, subpoenas, claims, disputes, investigations, or related legal matters.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and follow-ups accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in emerging technology and practical experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Copilot) to improve productivity, consistency, and quality.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $80,800 to $116,150. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and work location.
- In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
