Overview
Full-time Litigation Paralegal (Remote)
This role is remote; candidates must reside in the state of Texas to be considered.
The organization is a consumer protection law firm representing consumers who have been harassed or otherwise deceived by creditors and debt collectors. This position supports attorneys with litigation-related matters and provides administrative support to office staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research on simple and complex legal matters
- Handle administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research)
- Exceptional legal writing skills
- Superior organizational and time-management skills
- Computer literate; ability to quickly learn the firm’s case management software
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Salesforce
- Paralegal Certification
