Overview
Remote, part-time work for experienced transactional lawyers. This role involves training and testing AI systems using real contract tasks, including negotiating, redlining, and evaluating whether an AI-generated markup is something you would send to the other side.
Responsibilities
- Participate in simulated negotiations and review mark-ups of technology agreements
- Score AI responses to contract scenarios and explain, precisely, what is wrong or missing
- Help define and refine the rubrics used to grade models to keep results consistent
- Provide practical guidance to product and research teams
Requirements
- Three-plus years of in-house transactional work on technology deals, including experience with master services agreements, NDAs, ISDA and derivatives documentation
- Strong writing skills and a high attention to detail
- Analytical ability to translate legal judgment into actionable notes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a law firm M&A or private-equity fund-formation group
- Prior exposure to legal-tech and AI
Compensation & Benefits
- Independent contractor position

- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Task-based compensation; tasks average about 3.5 hours
- Published hourly range: $90 to $130
