Overview
This role involves providing expert legal support in litigation through remote contract work. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $85 to $120, with a commitment of 20 to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Design legally realistic litigation scenarios, including motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy.
- Produce attorney-level quality "golden" reference responses.
- Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
- Provide detailed written feedback to improve AI model behavior.
- Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration meetings.
Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of professional experience in civil litigation at a law firm, government agency, or legal department.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian law school, or LL.B./LL.M. from a U.K. institution.
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive license accepted).
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-discovery tools such as Relativity, document coding, and privilege review.
- Appellate or trial experience.
- Familiarity with case management software.
Compensation & Contract Details
- Hourly contractor position.
- Pay rate between $85 and $120 per hour.
