Overview

An experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney is sought to support a prominent Am Law 100 law firm client on a long-term remote contract engagement. This role involves advising high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters, including drafting and reviewing wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents.

Responsibilities

  • Advise high-net-worth clients on complex estate planning issues
  • Draft and review wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related documents
  • Provide expert guidance on sophisticated trusts and estates matters

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of trusts and estates experience, preferably at a large, mid-sized, or sophisticated boutique law firm
  • Proven experience drafting and reviewing estate planning documents
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence
  • Outstanding professional references

Position Details

  • Role type: Contract engagement
  • Schedule: Part-time to full-time
  • Duration: Approximately 6 to 12 months

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay range (full-time equivalent): $180,000 to $220,000 or more, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
