Overview
A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking Unlawful Detainer Attorneys licensed in California. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience specializing in unlawful detainer matters.
This role involves working under the direction of an experienced leader and trial attorney who represents clients nationwide in complex, high-stakes litigation. Ideal candidates are driven team players with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. Strong academic backgrounds, proven research skills, and the ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision are required.
Candidates must reside in and be licensed to practice law in California.
Responsibilities
- Handle unlawful detainer cases with a focus on litigation
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents
- Collaborate with team members and leadership on case strategy
- Manage assignments independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specializing in unlawful detainer matters
- Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven legal research capabilities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range:
- Associates: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
- Partners: $190,000 - $275,000 per year
- Actual salary will be based on skills, experience, training, and location
