- Post-execution tracking: Track key post-execution obligations and commercial terms to support corporate reporting, risk tracking, and organizational accessibility.
- Continuous improvement: Improve templates, forms, enablement resources, and processes to streamline and simplify deals and product/service terms.
- Legal operations: Modernize and build scalable tools and resources to keep the commercial legal function efficient.
- Core contracting assets: Maintain, build, and refine negotiation playbooks, clause libraries, and approval guidelines.
- Workflow and systems support: Support development, optimization, and integration of legal workflows and technology stacks (e.g., Ironclad, DealHub, Hubspot, Asana, DocuSign).
- Business enablement: Assist in the development and training of business teams on legal best practices, current processes, effective legal engagement, and current legal/regulatory matters.
- Cross-functional partnership: Cultivate working relationships with Deal Desk, Finance, Revenue Accounting, Sales, and Security teams to align on commercial terms, mitigate business risk, and drive deal velocity.
- Regulatory and compliance support: Stay updated on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations, including data privacy laws, and establish appropriate corporate policies and processes to help scale effectively.
- Special projects: Support high-visibility strategic legal initiatives, including product legal reviews, privacy compliance, intellectual property, marketing, employment, and corporate governance.
