Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense) — Hartford, CT (Remote)

The organization is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of insurance defense experience to join its growing Hartford, CT practice. This role involves defending a variety of insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities

• Defend insurance defense matters, including:
  • General Liability
  • Personal Injury
  • Product Liability
  • Professional Liability

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Insurance Defense
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda
• Experience summarizing depositions is preferred
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred

Required Education & Licensure

• Active Connecticut Bar License (Required)
• Trial experience (Required)
• Waiving into another bar and having multiple bars in the New England area is ideal; candidates with only one bar will be considered
