This contract attorney position involves contributing legal expertise to the training and improvement of next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on providing high-quality, real-world legal input to enhance AI model performance, particularly in the legal domain. The attorney will engage in complex legal research, document analysis, and case strategy development to support AI development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement legal rubrics for AI-driven document review and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft detailed memoranda to guide AI model training and evaluation.
• Analyze large volumes of litigation documents to identify key issues, trends, and data points critical for AI enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI development requirements.
• Oversee the quality and accuracy of AI outputs, providing feedback to improve discovery management and motion practice.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in AI-driven legal workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in complex legal research and writing, with the ability to analyze extensive legal data and develop well-supported arguments.
• Experience in discovery management and case strategy development, including issue identification and strategy formulation.
• Strong document analysis and issue-spotting capabilities to extract critical information and actionable insights.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and explaining complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to apply legal knowledge to practical problems and develop innovative solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate ranging from $100 to $150.
