Overview

This role supports a national commercial litigation group with robust national and local practices, handling active, complex matters in state and federal court.

Responsibilities

• Handle active, complex business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal court
• Take ownership of assigned work and contribute to ongoing case strategy and case management
• Demonstrate strong skills in writing, analysis, and research
• Conduct and manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery
• Participate in depositions
• Draft dispositive motions and pre-trial motions

Requirements

• Licensed and admitted to practice in California
• Excellent academic background
• Proven skills in writing, analysis, and research
• Self-starter who can take ownership of work and contribute to active matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Trial experience (preferred, but not required)
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and pre-trial motions
• Experience defending class actions (a plus, but not required)

Pay Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 /Yr.
