Overview
This role supports eDiscovery Technology (EDT) workflows focused on analytics and AI-assisted review. You will execute and maintain technology workflows designed by consultants, including TAR and continuous active learning, generative AI relevance and privilege classification, validation sampling and statistics, and search/analytics outputs. The work includes dedicated weekend coverage during US business hours.
Responsibilities
Execute Analytics and AI Workflows
- Set up and run TAR 1.0 and continuous active learning projects in Relativity, RelativityOne, and Nebula per practice playbooks, including project configuration, training rounds, monitoring, and cutoff support.
- Run generative AI relevance and privilege classifiers (under consultant direction), including prompt execution, batch management, results tracking, and iteration support.
- Pull validation samples, compute recall, precision, and elusion estimates from templates, and prepare validation documentation for consultant review.
- Produce structured analytics outputs (clustering, email threading, near-duplicate, concept analysis) and other analytics as specified.
Matter Support and Quality
- Manage assigned projects from the EDT request queue within SLA; prioritize quality control requests over new projects of the same tier.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date matter records, tracking, and time entry to support correct utilization and billing.
- Apply AI governance requirements on every matter, including client data boundaries, client-specific AI restrictions, privilege protections, and audit trail.
- Escalate any client-facing, legally sensitive, or out-of-playbook items to the assigned consultant or the Manager.
Weekend Coverage
- Provide dedicated coverage on Saturday and Sunday during US business hours by monitoring the request queue and escalation channels, acting on priority projects, and keeping scheduled TAR and AI review work moving toward Monday deadlines.
- Provide clear handoff notes at the end of each shift so consultants and project managers can pick up without gaps.
- Coordinate with the on-call consultant or Manager for items that require methodology input or client decisions.
Learning and Growth
- Complete structured training and certification milestones on practice playbooks and tools.
- Participate in internal training and demo sessions and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Grow toward the consultant track, including shadowing client calls, taking on scoping under supervision, and building toward leading matters.
Requirements
- 2+ years in eDiscovery, litigation support, or a related technical role with hands-on Relativity or RelativityOne experience.
- Exposure to TAR, continuous active learning, or generative AI review is a plus.
- Comfort with data, spreadsheets, and basic statistics, with the ability to follow a validation template and identify when a number looks wrong.
- Strong attention to detail, with a habit of complete documentation and accurate time entry.
- Clear written communication for project notes, handoffs, and status updates; comfortable asking questions and escalating early.
- Ability to work independently on a defined playbook once certified.
- Ability to reliably maintain a Wednesday to Sunday schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Relativity Certified Administrator, Relativity Analytics Specialist, or CEDS is a plus.
- Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with validation templates and producing validation documentation for consultant review.
- Experience with basic scripting to support eDiscovery workflows (Python, PowerShell).
- Additional exposure to analytics outputs such as clustering, email threading, near-duplicate, and concept analysis.
Compensation & Benefits
- Market-competitive compensation and performance bonus.
- Weekend schedule differential per policy, where applicable.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits; company-provided life insurance; short- and long-term disability.
- Paid time off.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Training and certification support.
- Base pay range estimate (annualized): $68,000 to $85,000.
Location
