Case Manager Assistant (Remote) | LATAM

Overview

Full-time contractor position with a remote workplace and a Monday to Friday schedule aligned with US Pacific Time (PST). Compensation is $900 to $1,200 per month, depending on experience.

This role supports a senior case manager at an established plaintiff personal injury firm based in Los Angeles. The firm focuses on premises liability cases, including slip-and-fall and trip-and-fall matters. You will serve as the dedicated assistant to one case manager, handling scheduling, follow-ups, and file work so the case manager can stay focused on case preparation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule client medical appointments and keep treatment calendars up to date.
• Request medical records and bills, and follow up with providers until documents are received.
• Maintain organized, current case files within the firm’s case management software.
• Track deadlines and outstanding items; flag anything at risk to the case manager.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance representatives to collect missing information.
• Prepare correspondence, forms, and simple status updates as directed.
• Protect client confidentiality at all times.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• At least 2 years supporting case managers at a US personal injury law firm.
• Hands-on experience scheduling medical appointments and requesting medical records and bills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with reliable follow-through across many active cases.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and a legal case management platform.
• Full-time availability during US Pacific business hours, with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience handling premises liability (slip-and-fall or trip-and-fall) cases.
• Experience working through remote desktop access to a firm's systems.
