Overview
A law firm with a national presence is seeking Commercial Litigation attorneys for its Los Angeles office. Ideal candidates are driven team players with strong litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. A solid academic background and proven research abilities are required. Candidates should be self-starters capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice law in California.
Responsibilities
- Handle commercial litigation matters with minimal supervision
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
- Engage in client interactions and collaborate with team members
Requirements
- Admission to practice law in California
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven research capabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Trial experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $275,000 annually, depending on experience and role level:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
- Eligibility for discretionary and performance-based bonuses
