Consumer Litigation Counsel (Remote)

Overview

This role supports Consumer Litigation matters within the Litigation/Labor & Employment practices, with a preference for General Litigation or Labor Employment Litigation experience. Experience handling single plaintiff litigation is required. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation experience is valued.

The position is remote, with the possibility of coming into a local office depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases
• Work directly with opposing counsel
• Draft motions and pleadings
• Negotiate settlement
• Handle court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial
• Provide substantive client contact
• Contribute to case strategy and case management

Requirements

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work
• Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills
