Overview

A legal team supporting data center and networking operations is seeking a Managing Counsel to join their expanding group. This remote position within the US involves providing legal support for a broad range of data center transactions, including colocation services, energy procurement, and strategic agreements with data center providers. The role requires collaboration with executive leadership and internal teams to negotiate and close critical agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex agreements related to data center development and operations
  • Support transactions involving real property acquisition and leasing, customized energy solutions, colocation agreements, fiber connectivity, and renewable energy initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic direction and execution
  • Drive best practices and contribute to the development of legal standards and processes within a fast-evolving business
  • Manage multiple priorities and provide high-quality legal counsel to executive-level clients

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience in technology, telecommunications, or data center operations
  • Proven experience advising on legal and regulatory issues related to data centers, cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and interconnection agreements
  • Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for data center colocation, cloud service agreements, and network interconnection
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic team environment
  • Admission to practice law in the United States

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $139,400 - $291,800 per year (USD), with eligibility for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral
