In-House Counsel (Remote/Part-time)

Overview

A client in the aviation industry is seeking a part-time, remote in-house counsel to assist with commercial contracting, corporate/M&A matters, and lease review. This engagement is part-time and fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial contracts
• Review leases
• Handle corporate and M&A legal matters

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial contracts, leases, and/or corporate M&A matters
• Prior in-house counsel experience is required
• Experience in the aviation industry or operations is a plus
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding professional references

Position Details

• Role type: Part-time, remote engagement
• Hours: 10-15 hours per week
• Duration: Approximately 6 months

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized pay range (full-time equivalent): $180,000 to $200,000
• Pay for contract engagements is based on factors including experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference
