ISDA Negotiator

Overview

An opportunity is available for an ISDA Negotiator to join a legal talent platform supporting global clients in the banking and financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate a range of relevant documents including ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, and other related agreements
• Analyze and resolve technical issues arising during negotiations
• Collaborate effectively within a team to manage a portfolio of live matters
• Build productive relationships with key stakeholders and relationship managers
• Foster an open and progressive environment that respects the diverse experience, background, and seniority of team members

Requirements

• Legal background with 5-12 years of experience working with derivatives documentation and negotiation, particularly drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ISDA agreements
• Experience gained in-house within financial services is beneficial but not essential
• Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to ISDA negotiation and execution
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
