Overview

A global provider of on-demand legal talent is seeking Commercial Legal Consultants with over 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. This role supports large multinational companies by providing expert legal advice and managing commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on commercial transactions to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams such as finance and procurement to align legal strategies with business goals.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry trends, particularly in the technology and consumer goods sectors.
• Assist in managing risks associated with commercial operations by identifying potential legal issues and proposing mitigation solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, ideally within an in-house legal setting.
• Familiarity with a wide range of commercial contracts including service agreements, IP licensing agreements, software agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
• Demonstrated experience or specialization in the technology or consumer goods sectors is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
