Overview
This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor opportunity with an estimated duration of six months and the potential for extension. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
The Human Frontier Collective (HFC) Fellowship brings together top researchers and domain experts to collaborate on high-impact projects shaping the future of AI. Fellows apply their academic and professional expertise to design, evaluate, and interpret advanced generative AI systems while working alongside an interdisciplinary network of leading thinkers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on high-impact projects with partnered AI labs and platforms.
- Design complex real-world scenarios and evaluate model outputs for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Provide targeted feedback to improve AI performance across domains such as compliance, litigation, case law, and contract analysis.
- Contribute to research publications by co-authoring technical reports and research papers with the research team.
- Participate in the HFC community, engaging with innovators and thought leaders advancing frontier AI.
Requirements
- Education: JD, LLM, or currently enrolled in a prestigious 2L/3L law program.
- Certifications: Bar admission in any jurisdiction is strongly preferred.
- Professional Background: Experience as an Attorney/Associate, Legal Analyst, Counsel, Law Clerk, In-House Counsel, Legal Researcher, or Law Professor.
- Skills: Expertise in legal research, regulatory framework analysis, constitutional law, case law interpretation, and legal brief drafting.
- Professional Mindset: Detail-oriented, innovative thinker with a passion for financial technology and collaboration.
- Prior experience with AI is not required but considered a plus.
