Legal Support Agent

Overview

This role combines research expertise with customer support to help clients make effective use of AI-enabled research and drafting technologies (including generative AI and AI drafting tools).

You will deliver high-quality legal, financial, and news research, demonstrate AI-enabled capabilities in real time, and support customers as they apply these tools to research, writing, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality legal, financial, and news research using relevant platforms, traditional sources, and AI-assisted tools.
• Use generative AI to synthesize, summarize, and analyze complex data sets, delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
• Engage with customers directly via phone, chat, and email to resolve inquiries and demonstrate AI tools in real time.
• Showcase how AI drafting features can accelerate workflows, including generating case summaries, client memos, and analytical reports.
• Partner with clients to co-create AI-enhanced outputs and build confidence in responsible AI adoption.
• Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently using department tools, research expertise, and sound professional judgment.
• Act as a customer advocate by reporting feedback and identifying opportunities for AI-driven enhancements to products and processes.
• Maintain the highest standards of data integrity, accuracy, and transparency when using AI tools.

Requirements

• LLB/legal qualification or equivalent
• Experience in legal, financial, or news research or customer support
• Experience using Lexis Advance, Lexis+, or Lexis+ AI
• Familiarity with AI drafting, summarization, and research technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical users
• Strong multitasking and analytical abilities; able to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously
• Proficient PC skills, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and web browsers; minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
