Litigation Associate Attorney (Writs)

Overview

A nationally recognized law firm with nearly 250 attorneys across California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C., is seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The firm specializes in complex legal issues involving public agencies, businesses, and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters independently
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft dispositive motions
• Work on writs of mandate, municipal civil litigation, and land use litigation (highly preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Admission to practice law in California
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with writs of mandate, municipal civil litigation, and land use litigation

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $137,500 - $200,000, depending on years of practice and experience

Location

• Position may be based in any California office
