M&A Attorney (Remote Engagement)

Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced M&A and corporate transactional attorney for a part-time engagement with a boutique law firm. This is a fully remote role, with the ideal candidate located near Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Handle mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and related corporate transactions
• Support corporate succession planning
• Assist with entity formations
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
• Manage day-to-day corporate transactions

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience primarily at law firms
• Experience across corporate matters, including:
  • M&A deals
  • Entity formations
  • Complex commercial agreements
  • Day-to-day corporate transactions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a U.S. accredited law school
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-time (10–15 hours/week)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay (full-time equivalent salary range): $200,000 – $240,000
• Contract engagement pay: Determined based on multiple factors, including (but not limited to) work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
• Professional liability insurance: Complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts/omissions provided within the scope of an authorized engagement.
• Benefits eligibility: Full benefits available when working 20+ hours per week, including:
